From New York With Love (part 30)

Dear Mr. Prokhorov,

No matter how much I want to save time and avoid wasting efforts trying to talk to you through this media, but I find myself going back and listening to your debates and interviews while running for Presidency of RF. Not all of them I saw before.
They give me insights of your thinking, your knowledge, your views, plans and expectations of future for yourself and your country. Also your character and personality in how you handling yourself.
I specifically carefully watched 2 of your debates with Vladimir Zhrinovsky, which I want to comment on.
Everyone who ever listened to him knows that he is a vivacious character and can overwhelm his opponents.
He can be blunt, brutal, funny, rude and sometimes even aggressive. But, he's an expert in certain things and he's totally right in at least one thing; President's main responsibility is to keep the country safe, meaning first on duty list is the foreign policy.
It's just a fact and it's the same in everywhere. Second is economic. To have cultural/social advancement is good, but it comes the third and very close to second - they're almost intertwine.
I was interested to hear what Metropolit Velokolomskiy Ilarion had to say during your debate on Feb. 2nd, 2012.
He was general, but touched the base of very important things, which actually are in the foundation of the Constitution of USA, which survived more than 200 years. You might find it old fashion, obsolete, but if I would ask you Qs, I'm believe you'll agree with most of it.
He said that all was fetch-ketch and sometimes became "balagan," but one who is applying for a serious ruling position for the nation has to have and show the mechanisms of not only political and economic advancements, but also point out the roots from where he has to derive nation's spiritual and moral renovation. Vladica also added that if the talk is all about material things, you as a nation already experimented and experienced the consequence of it.

I agree. Russian people are historically religious and it's nothing wrong with it.
Every religion teaches morality and responsibility, which are 2 difficult things for humans to follow. Think about it.
Do you believe in religion? Are you spiritual? Do you agree with him that if people don't have incentive, they're not inclined and motivated to do good things?
Religion doesn't solve your problems, it helps you live with them and gives you hope and encouragement to overcome them, if possible. God is omnipotent, but not omnipresent. We'll always have unanswered questions. How we handle ourselves while puzzled using our free will? That's the challenge.
Why do you think religeious people are not scared of getting merried? Why their marrgae is happier and stronger, than so called "progressives?"
Religion discourages violence and encourages kindness, condems perversion. It has been the groundwork for creation of family and procreation and thus continuation of humanity. Strong family structure makes up the fiber of strong nation. Marriage itself is a religious act. The fear of highest creator keeps people in check with their responsibilities.
You might be an atheist and still marry, but your judge would be the court of government, another man like you, not the court of highest thinking.
This conversation can go on and on, but don't want to be a preacher. I hardly go to church, but older I got more I felt that there is something I don't know enough about and I'd be stupid to say that I know. If you take off concept of God, what do you put instead?
Believe me, I remember the textbook called "Atheism" we all studied in USSR. There wasn't any argument against it.
I didn't get myself in here, who am I to judge the universe? Without concept of God you become your own authority, your own God, feel almigthy, and after, when you understand your limitations and have no smarter person or place to turn for help, you run out of your mind. Russians say "c uma coshel," but craziness defined as "duxovnoya bolezn." Not mental, but spiritual.
Suffrage of soul has no remedy from humans, its remedy is in heaven.
Psychical pain can be forgotten, but spiritual pain can not.

I liked how you raised your voice protecting your manhood, when Volfovich tempted on it. You said very loud and clear that you value love and would be a good father. But, dear, being a father is a full time job and you can't be the best while combining both - the temps of your work routine now (let alone Presidency) and spending time with your family. Family needs maintenance, the necessary investment in any relationship, especially family, is the time. Where are you going to get it? Are you going to exchange your presently 15 hours workdays with 24 hour ones? What woman in her right mind would marry a man who decided to live a life of constant public scrutiny, control, thus fear and complete lock down? There is no money in the world can be exchanged with freedom. Freedom of walking the streets anywhere, talking to strangers about anything, running your mouth the way you want to...
Rich and famous are deprived of these priceless things.

Look at the skies, look at the galaxies, take couple of days off and contemplate on how old are they and what happened before us. See how they evolve, feel how small we all are in this grandiose universe. Be alone, totally alone - all by yourself. Ask yourself Qs and answer loudly. Hear your own voice. Feel if you're ready to go out and say the same things loud in public and to the world.
It will give you a new perspective in life, which you don't have time to reflect on now.
None of the people surrounding you who are encouraging you to do what you're doing, even if you believe and they're really, really love you and wishing you well, will NOT be able to give you a minute of their lives to extend yours, even if they will desperately want to. Our lives are very short seconds in eternity of universe.
Humble yourself, cherish Life. Prioritize most important and nonexchangeable things and you still WILL be able to do the best you can in every of your endeavor. Choose peaceful, more rewording path for your plans and projects, please.
No one in the world in death bed yet said "I regret I didn't put more hours in office."
LOVE is the most important thing we give and most important thing we get. Dead don't need things. At the end everyone gets the same thing; as Hamlet said "the rest is silence."
You have still a chance to rethink your directions and go toward gaining back THE priceless freedom of your life.
Hope you hear this massage and ask me "how?" I follow you on twitter, you can follow me there @starlet737.

Best regards.
P.S. On a lighter note; I give you credit for not holding the rabbit from ears. It shows your tender side. Volfovich is wrong on that. You should put me to debate with him on behalf of you.
P.P.S. Though, I just remembered and LOL, Volfovich is right saying that nowhere they'll be able to find bodyguards for you to cover your height.
Maybe you should be disquilified for only that reason as "potential security liability for country?"
